High House is a fabulous, contemporary property with exceptionally generous accommodation for up to eight people. It offers spectacular elevated and panoramic views across Salcombe and the estuary towards Snapes Point and Southpool Creek. The main living area has vaulted ceilings and combines a large open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room – all benefitting from quality furnishings, with floor to ceiling glazing along the entire eastern elevation. Guests can enjoy the views from throughout the living area or for privacy, lower the blinds at the touch of a button. Doors open onto an expansive decked balcony with sit up bar and gas BBQ - perfect for enjoying the sunshine, views and alfresco dining. Downstairs four comfortable bedrooms are accessed off a spacious hallway, two ensuite, the remaining two sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom. All bedrooms enjoy the same great views with direct access on to the lower terrace and garden. High House further delivers with a home cinema room complete with bar area, and a small gym. A laundry room, and boot room with separate access from the outside complete the downstairs. A 10 minute stroll downhill from the luxury comforts of High House leads guests into the heart of Salcombe. Enjoy the waterfront, shops, restaurants and pubs, or jump on a ferry to explore the beaches of East Portlemouth and South Sands or stunning South West Coast path beyond. A short drive away is the local market town of Kingsbridge, as well as popular Hope Cove, Thurlestone and Bantham, and the many additional fantastic local beaches and walks.
