Albert's Cottage is a gorgeously romantic old fisherman's cottage tucked away in a quiet loke, just 100m from Wells quay. Tastefully and sympathetically restored and well equipped, this super dooper love nest is perfect for two love birds to retreat to.

This delightful 200-year-old cottage has a south facing pretty courtyard garden with stable door and it comes with oodles of character throughout, with beams and an inglenook fireplace and cosy wood burning stove. Climb the Norfolk winder staircase and you'll discover a beautifully-appointed sunny bedroom and a shower room.

This cottage has been very popular with Hideaways guests over the years and being that it is looked after and cared for by the owner, you can be assured that the cottage is maintained to a high standard and you'll find tea and cake ready to tuck into on arrival.

Proof that it is such a romantic bolt hole, Albert's has hosted three marriage proposals in the last five years, so if you are searching for somewhere to pop the question, then why not book a stay here?

Albert's is located close to the bustling Staithe Street and quay, where you will find numerous cafe's, restaurants, boutiques, shops and art galleries to browse and shop. You really couldn't be better placed to enjoy a wonderful holiday in this popular seaside town.

Wells-next-the-Sea boasts one of the best beaches along the coast with its glorious white sands and cheerful and brightly painted beach huts and stunning pine forest. Head to Holkham to explore the hall, stunning parklands and the world-famous beach which is regularly voted the best in the UK. Featured in the closing scenes of Shakespeare in Love, you can re-create the scenes made famous by Gwyneth Paltrow.

With the Coasthopper bus stop very close to the front door too, you can explore the coast without using the car, or why not hire bikes or paddle boards from the harbour and see the town and coastline from a different perspective.

Albert's Cottage can also be booked as a sleeps four option with an additional bedroom on the first floor.
