Westgate Cottage is a wonderful holiday home with a fabulous garden in a great position, tucked away quietly from the road in the very popular village of Thornham. With supremely comfortable beds and four bathrooms, it offers lots of privacy and space for larger families or a group of friends.
This large single-storey family-friendly holiday home comes with a fabulous enclosed garden, perfect for children.
The cottage has a great kitchen leading through to spacious dining room, with conservatory off that and a good-size sitting room with two three seater sofas, beyond the dining room. There are four bedrooms; two doubles, one single and one-family room with a double and single bed, three en-suites and a family bathroom with cloakroom, making it easy to get ready when there's a full-house. The house is comfortable and easy to live in and very practical too with solid oak floors throughout the kitchen and reception rooms.
To the rear of the property is a very large and very lovely private garden, laid mainly to lawn with mature trees and shrubs, making it a perfect place to spend sunny afternoons relaxing and long evenings catching the last of the sun's rays. With two terraces, one at the rear of the property and one set within the main garden area and garden furniture and gas barbecue there's no excuse for not dining alfresco.
The cottage is within easy walking distance of all the excellent pubs and restaurants in the village, including the ever-popular Thornham Deli, The Orange Tree, The Lifeboat Inn and The Chequers and at the further end of the village there is Eric's Fish and Chips, Gurney's fishmongers and the fabulous Drove Orchard's farm shop with facilities to pick your own fruit.
Westgate Cottage is also available as a sleeps four option using two of the bedrooms.
