Great news if you just want to get away for a long weekend or short break. Squirrel Cottage accepts bookings for short breaks. So if you fancy a few days in Gloucestershire to recharge your batteries then this cottage is well worth consideration.
Squirrel Cottage is a perfect romantic getaway for two, having been lovingly renovated and fully modernised, the cottage is ideal for a break in the Cotswolds throughout the seasons.
The cottage is set over three floors, at the ground level you will be greeted by a lovely open-plan area with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with a door leading out the the delightful courtyard. The spiral staircase leads you up to the first floor where you will find a stylish sitting room with wooden flooring and an electric stove effect fire. A second spiral staircase then leads you up to the bedroom on the second floor with an elegant 5' king-size four poster bed and en-suite shower room.
A private and cosy south westerly courtyard with quality patio furniture is perfect for winding down the evening, with plump cushions to relax into. There is a private allocated parking space just one minute from the cottage.
Situated in the centre of Tetbury, a cheery and historic market town, lovingly referred to as the southern gateway to the Cotswolds. With its Royal connections, the honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm. Boasting the most antique shops in the UK along with many pubs and restaurants serving great food and local ales, and a visit to the new luxury delicatessen is a must!
