Great news if you just want to get away for a long weekend or short break. The Dolls House accepts bookings for short breaks. So if you fancy a few days in Dorset to recharge your batteries then this cottage is well worth consideration.
When arriving at this wonderful property, at the upper ground level you will be greeted via an entrance hall into the impressive open-plan kitchen and dining area with wonderful views across the countryside towards Sherborne Castle. With tasteful furnishings, the snug is perfect for retiring to when evening draws in. Upstairs on the first floor is a delightful surprise with a beautiful king-size Hypnos bed in the stylish bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Guests can enjoy the gravelled courtyard garden with furniture and barbecue at the front of the property with access to the front door.
The centre of Sherborne is only an 8 minute walk away with its large selection of national and independent shops, cafes and restaurants, and the town has an impressive Abbey and two castles to visit and enjoy. The Dolls House is the perfect couples retreat, and is well situated for exploring this historic Dorset town, the surrounding glorious countryside and quaint villages nearby.
