Magnolia Cottage in Porlock Somerset has recently been renovated throughout Situated on the edge of Porlock and within Exmoor National Park the cottage minutes from the West Somerset coastline or moorlands with woodland walks directly from the door The cottage makes a perfect base for visitors wanting to explore the many delights of the area

Dating back to the 19th century but the cottage has a rustic feel with all the modern comforts that you will need The front door opens into a small hall for hanging coats The lounge has a comfortable sofa and chairs plus a wood-burner The adjacent kitchen-diner is up one step and features an Aga-style range as well as electric cooker and hob

The stairs lead up from the lounge to the first floor where the bathroom and two bedrooms are there s one double and one twin bedroom The bathroom comprises a bath with shower over toilet and hand basin

Magnolia Cottage is set in an idyllic spot next to a running stream in the Hawkcombe valley a ten minute walk from the centre of Porlock village

The cottage is approached via a footbridge

Guests receive a welcome pack and logs for the wood-burning stove

Security deposit A security deposit of

70 is required when booking this property This will be added to the total price of your booking and will be refunded after your stay unless the owner discovers damage to the property or its contents after your departure

Week-long bookings are available from Saturdays Short breaks may be available please check the availability calendar

The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival

Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests
