The Summer Palace is an outstanding stone-built, detached cottage, set in a beautiful walled garden just below King Richard’s castle in Middleham and can sleep two people. This all ground floor cottage has a king-size double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside, there is off road parking for one car, a small patio area with furniture and shared use of the walled gardens. The Summer Palace is a lovely holiday base.
There is wifi or internet access available at The Summer Palace in Middleham. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in The Summer Palace's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.

Power inc. in rent. Logs only inc. in rent for stove from start of October to end of March. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Small patio area with furniture and shared use of the walled gardens. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 min walk. Note: Only logs are provided for the stove from October to March. Firelighters and kindling can be purchased locally. Outside of these months guests must provide their own logs, firelighters and kindling. Note: Logs will be provided between November 2020 and March 2021.
