Windlass Cottage is a beautifully presented holiday home located just moments from the historic cobbled streets winding down to the Quay, where local fishing boats can be seen offloading their daily catch. Arranged over three floors and full of character, this delightful cottage combines cosy bedrooms with open plan living for a comfortable holiday base. With a roaring log burner in the open plan sociable living area and a separate cosy lounge, there is plenty of space for the whole family to relax. The private courtyard garden captures the summer sun and offers a peaceful spot for a morning coffee or evening tipple! Just a short stroll and you are in the vibrant heart of Lymington, with its bustling streets, alleyways and courtyards all home to a variety of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The ancient Saturday charter market lines the High Street every Saturday and is a must visit, with a wide selection of stalls and crafts. The Lymington sea water baths, with inflatable course, kayak and paddle board hire is close by, as are the marinas and coastal path, with views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. Wander down to the station to catch a train to the ferry port and onto Yarmouth, just a 30 minute trip. The beautiful New Forest National Park is within a 10 minute drive with miles of heathland to explore - enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding amongst the free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys. Please note this property has steep cottage stairs to both upstairs floors – regrettably unsuitable for children under 5 years old.
