Calleva holiday home has been designed to take advantage of fabulous sea views across Lyme Regis from the living room and kitchen by way of its 'reverse' floor layout. It is located in an elevated and quiet residential area, with peaceful surroundings. The property is perfectly suited to a seaside holiday and offers the ideal 'home from home' feel, providing good quality accommodation for couples and families. The master bedroom on the ground floor includes an en suite shower room and relaxing armchairs whilst the first floor comprises of the living area and two extra bedrooms. The house is well equipped and the addition of a paved patio and garden furniture creates an enjoyable spot in which to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or to dine al fresco. The property has garage parking and a space for a second car on the driveway. If you wish to leave the car at home it is an easy walk downhill to the town and beach and a bus can bring you back uphill and drop you near the house. Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby. Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location. There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family. Of course, there are also loads of smaller events happening as well!
