Holly Cottage is a lovely three bedroom cottage located in the sleepy Dorset village of Loders, with its welcoming pub, church and pretty stone built thatched cottages gives the visitor a taste of a traditional English village which is set in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property is comfortably furnished and tastefully finished whilst sleeping 4 guests, making this a perfect property for a relaxing break, whatever the season especially having a lovely log burner, even in winter this property will be a cosy retreat. Outside the french doors of the kitchen with views over the surrounding countryside this is an ideal spot to enjoy a summers evening. This is an ideal base from which to explore the Jurassic Coast and all it has to offer. West Bay which featured on the TV drama Broadchurch is only five miles away and the spectacular World Heritage Coastline is within easy driving distance. Lyme Regis and Charmouth, Abbotsbury, and the county town of Dorchester a short drive away and the lively market town of Bridport with it's an array of eclectic shops, art deco cinema, Arts Centre and every Wednesday and Saturday the famous street market selling artisan food and bric-a-brac. For those who love walks and nature you could not be in a better place with walks in every direction. On the summit is a 14-hectare Iron Age Hill Fort with amazing views of Dorset AONB & Lyme Bay, or discover the ancient woodland of Powerstock Common. The popular beach of West Bay is only 5 miles away on the Jurassic Coast and there are many attractions close by to suit all tastes including the Sub Tropical Gardens of Abbotsbury, fishing trips, fossil hunting at Charmouth, horse riding and much more.
