Dyers Cottage is situated in a clutch of houses at the edge of the popular Cotswold village of Guiting Power, this charming cottage is both rural and extremely peaceful.
Great news if you just want to get away for a long weekend or short break. Dyers Cottage accepts bookings for short breaks. So if you fancy a few days in Gloucestershire to recharge your batteries then this cottage is well worth consideration.
Dyers Cottage is situated in a clutch of houses at the edge of the popular Cotswold village of Guiting Power, this charming cottage is both rural and extremely peaceful.
A warm welcome awaits you at Dyers Cottage. Surrounded by open fields with the river to its right, this south facing property is approached through a pretty cottage garden. Downstairs enjoy a cosy wood burning stove in the comfortable sitting room for you to relax indoors on those colder evenings, and a fully equipped country kitchen. Upstairs the master bedroom has a spacious bedroom with a 5' king-size bed and the second bedroom a comfortable 3' single bed.
The pretty front garden is ideal for alfresco dining or enjoying a morning coffee looking out on the peaceful and uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside.
Within walking distance of the village, the cottage offers an ideal base for exploring the numerous attractions nearby. The post office doubles as a tea room serving delicious homemade cakes, whilst the village sports two pubs, the Hollow Bottom and Farmers Arms, both serving food. There are a host of lovely walks on your doorstep, whilst the Cotswold Farm Park and Batsford Arboretum are but a short distance away. Several National Trust properties are also in the vicinity and numerous attractions close by.
After a day out exploring the area, come back home to this cosy cottage to unwind. Alternatively just stay in the garden, relax and watch the wildlife. So much still to do, you will wish you had stayed longer!
