Blacksmith's Cottage was, as the name implies, where local horses were shod back in the day. Now a really charming little cottage, the owners have taken great care to create a rather special place for you to stay and relax. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful to chill out from a busy daily lifestyle, you've found it. If you like to get out and about, base yourself here and you are rather spoilt for choice for things to do, see and discover. With two bedrooms on the first floor (king-size and single) and a spacious sitting/dining room (with access to the private garden) kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor, this romantic little hideaway is a perfect getaway for either couples, a small family, a solo traveller or friends to enjoy. Well-equipped, you should want for nothing.
The coast at both Sheringham and Cromer is only a ten minute drive away, the Georgian town of Holt a similar distance and, if walking and cycling are what you like to do, the Norfolk Coast Cycleway and Weaver's Way are close by as are the National Trust's properties at Felbrigg, Blicking Hall and Sheringham Park. And, if you are of an artistic inclination, try your hand at acrylics and book a painting lesson with the owner.
