Situated a scenic walk away from Millbay Beach and The Gara Rock Hotel surrounded by fields sits 1 Stoneybridge Cottages, a tastefully appointed four bedroom home with beautiful countryside and sea views. Guests can meander along the path down to Millbay beach on the edge of the Salcombe Estuary or catch the ferry across to Salcombe itself a little further along the road from Millbay. The famous Gara Rock Hotel is also in easy walking distance-one of the most scenic places to enjoy a meal or a drink in the South West. This lovely home has parking and a garden, large open plan living with a log burner, a truly charming property for guests to enjoy whatever the time of year. East Portlemouth sits opposite the popular town of Salcombe which is easily accessed from this via the passenger ferry. The village itself has a cafe , the fabulous Port Waterhouse, with pop up dining events and a bar open seasonally, and some fabulous sandy beaches along with direct access to the South West Coast Path. A very scenic walk takes you to The Gara Rock Resort, serving delicious food with some of the best scenery a restaurant could provide, plus a spa and cinema room. The nearby village of South Pool also boasts a gastro pub, the Millbrook Inn. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge is a thirty minute drive away, with shops, pubs, eateries and a cinema and in the other direction along the picturesque coastal road is the historic Naval town of Dartmouth, again well serviced with amenities. This popular location along with this fantastic property have all the ingredients for an idyllic holiday come rain or shine.
