Dating back to the16th Century, Kiddles House is an impressive and spacious four-bedroom detached house, set in the heart of the beautiful village of Piddletrenhide, in the Piddle Valley.
Great news if you just want to get away for a long weekend or short break. Kiddles House accepts bookings for short breaks. So if you fancy a few days in Dorset to recharge your batteries then this cottage is well worth consideration.

Ogden Nash's poem 'Paradise for Sale' was based on this delightful house which is full of character and charm, having been thoughtfully restored to a very high standard.
Kiddles House offers very generous accommodation with a large, well-equipped kitchen and breakfast room; a spacious family television and games room; an open-plan sitting room with wood burning stove and dining area; a utility room and cloakroom and a boot room. On the first floor are four bedrooms, including a master suite with dressing area and en-suite shower room; a second double with an en-suite bathroom; and two twin bedrooms which share a well-appointed family bathroom with separate shower enclosure.
Outside is a large and attractive garden with lawns, flower beds and a small pond. Garden furniture is provided along with a barbecue terrace with picnic bench.
This wonderful holiday home is located in the popular village of Piddletrenthide which has two pubs and a village shop. There are numerous walks in all directions, making it a great base for walking holidays, and the location is perfect for exploring the county of Dorset and the Jurassic Coast which is only a short drive away. The county town of Dorchester is only a 10 minute drive away, and within a 20 minute drive are the popular market towns of Sherborne and Blandford.
