New for 2022 The Old Chemist is situated on a countryside gravel lane, where New Forest ponies roam free right outside. Formerly the village chemist store, the property has been considerately modernised into a spacious family holiday home all on one level. With all main amenities within walking distance, The Old Chemist is ideally positioned within the picturesque village of Burley. Inside, the main hallway, complete with the original medicine cupboards, leads to the rooms within. Step down to the spacious, well equipped kitchen/dining room which is perfect for all the family to gather together, with extra seating and TV. The master bedroom has its own en suite, and there are two further bedrooms. The comfortable lounge with wood burner leads on to the rear garden, which has a useful verandah offering a covered seating area and barbecue for al fresco dining. Burley is a traditional New Forest village, with gift shops, tea rooms, pubs and even a cider farm! Explore the many miles of local trails by foot, horse or bike which can be hired in the village. Further afield, the coast is within half an hour by car. Other local attractions include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Moors Valley Country Park, home to Go Ape treetop challenge and Paultons Park featuring the famous Peppa Pig World.
