Solstice is a charming, attractive cottage dating back to the 1800s which is tucked away within the centre of the delightful South Hams village of Blackawton in South Devon. Much of the area surrounding the village is part of South Devons Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty depicting rolling countryside, rugged cliffs, shingle beaches and sandy coves. Blackawton is a delightful, unspoilt village which has a genuine community ambience and is also home to one locally renowned pub and a well stocked community shop. The nearest beach at Strete Gate is only 5 miles away, the popular maritime town of Dartmouth and the famous stretch of coast between Slapton and Torcross are 6 miles away, and Woodlands Adventure Park which is a family favourite is only a mile away. Solstice has been sympathetically restored whilst retaining character features such as an inglenook fireplace with wood stove, beamed ceilings and slate floors; and yet it provides amenities to meet and exceed modern day expectations to include a well equipped kitchen with range oven, two bathrooms and a lovely sunny garden. Solstice won;t fail to delight in offering homely and comfortable accommodation for both couples and families alike.
